Increasing your self-confidence does not happen in one day. You need to be patient enough and determined to help yourself. 1. Have a positive mindset
Our bodies would need time to restore and regenerate cells. When you are tired and all worn-out, you should take time to relax and freshen up. This is the same as a computer when you are trying to clear up the system for glitches. Here are some ways on how to have a positive mindset to increase your self-confidence.
Instead of always being negative on all things, it’s time to set up your mind and start anew by reversing things and being always on the positive side. A good example would be, instead of saying “I will not eat a lot”, be positive and say “I will eat healthy foods from now on”.

3. Do not forget your social life
Those who are outgoing and who have an upbeat personality are the ones who have a high self-esteem. For people who are often shy and are anti-social, they often think negative of themselves therefore causing a low self-esteem.
If you’re one of these people, then it’s time for you to change your ways. Do not forget your social life. Go out and mingle with your friends and meet new people. This way, you will feel your self-worth and gain confidence.
4. Exercise
Having a routine exercise does not only promote an active and healthy lifestyle but also increases a person’s self-confidence. You will feel energetic if you are exercising every day. When you are exercising, your body is in good shape, giving you self-confidence.
5. Take time to rest
You’re probably all hooked up with your work that you do not have any time left for yourself to relax. If you’re in a busy environment, take time to rest and do some relaxation techniques. Do I consider this job as a habit?
Will this job help me to become a better person?
If you think that your job isn’t helping you to become a better person but rather makes you feel all stressed out, then you should probably change it for the better.
7. Examine your current condition
It would be better if you frequently examine your current condition and reflect on it. You may have a daily routine that keeps you going and allows you to have an examination of your situation. For people who keep track of the things that always happen to them, it would be better if you record things such as these:
Your goals. Set your goals and strive to achieve it.
Once you have achieved your goals, be proud to record it.
Record the incidences that made you happy.
Have a reflection on what happened to you for the day.
8. Change your environment
The environment has a great impact on one’s feelings and moods. If your surroundings are quite tiresome and uninteresting, then you better think of ways on how to change it.
